I’m Lindsay Brown, founder of Concordia Nova.

With over 30 years’ experience in senior HR and people strategy—and a personal history in a third-generation family business—I specialise in helping leadership teams through conflict, succession, and organisational transition.

I began my career in our family construction firm, eventually becoming HR Director and shareholder during a successful sale to a publicly listed company. Since then, I’ve worked across tech, charity, and global sectors, guiding businesses through the tricky middle ground between legacy and growth.

My work is grounded in empathy, clarity, and action. I help founders, boards, and teams tackle difficult conversations, re-align their people strategy, or prepare for the next chapter—whether that’s a leadership handover, exit, or renewed team culture.

Clients often tell me I bring calm structure to complexity. I listen carefully, ask the right questions, and help people move forward with confidence and integrity.

When I’m not working, I split my time between the South Coast and France. I’m a lifelong maker, a recovering overachiever, and someone who finds joy in small things—like good coffee, brave conversations, and quiet paths through the woods.
