Concordia Nova

Exit, succession and leadership handover — handled well.

I help founders and family businesses prepare early, reduce hidden risk, and protect the value they’ve built — so stepping back or selling is cleaner, calmer and more controlled.

Most value is lost before an exit or handover ever reaches the table — through leadership uncertainty, unresolved people issues, or founders leaving preparation too late.Preparing well protects continuity, confidence and price. It also gives founders more choice, more control, and fewer surprises when decisions matter most.

Concordia Nova offers tailored support for founders who want to strengthen their people, reduce risk, and make confident decisions at key moments.

With 35 years’ experience in family business and global HR leadership, I now help founders with start-up needs, scaling, exit readiness and life after sale.

Where I Help Leaders Make Critical Decisions

  • Build In Value Before Exit

Strengthening leadership depth, clarity and continuity so the business can operate without you — and is more valuable, transferable and investable.

Tangible support for founders scaling towards an exit or succession.

  • Get Ready to Exit

Focused on leadership continuity, decision-making and the people risks that quietly affect deal confidence, value and outcomes.

Advisory support for founders and family businesses preparing to sell or step back.

  • After The Business Has Sold

Helping steady decisions, protect reputation and standing. Avoiding rushed or regretted moves while you shape what comes next.

A small, private advisory engagement for leaders after exit.

  • Sell Your Expertise Effectively

Many capable suppliers struggle to sell into HR because their pitch is framed for the seller, not the decision-maker. HR leaders are time-poor and risk-aware.

I help suppliers position and present their value to HR, focusing on positioning, decision-maker psychology and real-world credibility.

About Lindsay

I’m Lindsay Brown, founder of Concordia Nova. I work with founders, family businesses and senior leaders across the UK and internationally at moments that really matter — succession, exit and leadership transition.

I bring over 35 years of experience helping businesses prepare for change without losing value, people or momentum. That includes leading through succession in my own multi-generation family business, and supporting founders and boards through growth, transition and exit in complex organisations.

Today, I help leaders strengthen decision-making, build leadership continuity and reduce the people risks that quietly affect value, confidence and outcomes — before, during and after an exit.
